ERIC'S HOME!!!

I know I have missed updating the blog in a long time, but I thought it was worth skipping to do this update. My husband has finally returned home. It has been a very long year without him, but he is safe and with us now. My mom and I decorated the yard with 61 flags and a banner on the garage. My neighbors were so inspired that they lined the whole street with flags. It actually brought tears to my eyes to see how loving the neighbors are. It was amazing to see.

We did not have to wait at the airport for long because Eric's flight was actually early. Everyone knew who we were waiting for though. People who got off his flight before him (which was everyone because he was at the very back of the plane) kept telling us "he is coming", "he is almost out", and there were lots of thanks given to us also for our sacrifice.

There was no hesitation in knowing who daddy was though. Lawson was so happy that his dad was home again.

I cried when Eric got to meet his son for the first time. It was fantastic to see.

And finally Eric got to see his new home. The whole family is home and in one place now.

I am sure it was a lot to take in today for Eric, but all-in-all it was a great day so far. I think everyone was so excited for today that they wore themselves out, because everyone but me is taking a nap now. I have missed my husband and now I feel complete again.

WELCOME HOME ERIC!!!

Ethan Tanner Dwelle

Ethan Tanner Dwelle was born on September 20, 2010 at 12:42 in the afternoon. He was 6 pounds 7 ounces, 18 1/2 inches long, and perfect in every way. Eric was able to be there for the birth, in a way. We had the computer set up and skype on for the entire labor. It was an amazing delivery.

Lawson, however, did not want to take a nap. This is the closest he came.

First family portrait. What a cute family.

Big brother is already in love and just wants to give great kisses all the time.

Need I say anymore!!!
